Rules on the bus
  1. Keep the bus neat at all times.
  2. Nobody is allowed to throw papers or other objects around in the bus or out the windows.
  3. After each trip the bus must be cleaned and papers, etc. must go into a refuse bag.
  4. The learners on the bus must at all times be role models of good behaviour.
  5. No learner may show improper signs to other learners, the bus driver or the public.
  6. Bullying is not allowed.
  7. It is prohibited to swear, eat, drink or spit on the bus.
  8. No intimidation, wrestling, fighting or running around will be tolerated.
  9. Any form of misbehaviour must immediately be reported to the driver or Mrs Gentle.
  10. All learners must be seated while the bus is in motion.
  11. No body parts of any learner should be outside the window.
  12. No learner from the Foundation or Intermediate Phase is allowed to go home with a friend on another bus.  High School children must have written permission from both learners’ parents.  Learners who normally do not travel by bus and hostel learners must pay R10 to travel by bus.
  13. Changing route or pick-up and drop-off points must be requested in writing by the parents.
  14. All windows must be closed after each trip.
  15. No cigarettes, lighters, matches, dangerous objects or weapons are allowed on the bus.
  16. Cell phones can be very disturbing to the driver.  You may only use your cell phone for emergency calls.
  17. No feet are allowed on the seats.
Accessibility

Bus no. 29 (“Able”) is adapted to transport learners in wheelchairs safely.  Learners embark and disembark the bus by using an electronic lift.  The latest technology is used to anchor these chairs to the floor.  These learners are fetched and delivered to their homes.
